Sweet Potato, Egg, and Avo

Ingredients

1 Organic Sweet Potato

1 Organic Free Range Egg

1/2 Avocado

Pinch Salt and a Pepper

Generous Amount of Ceylon Cinnamon 

Macro Balanced Breakfast

Directions

  1. Start cooking your sweet potato, just stick it in the over with holes in it for like 40-50 mins depending on the size. Or have one already made up from the day before and just remove from refrigerator 😉
  2. Cook your Egg however you like with a little salt and pepper
  3. Smash your avocado and add a little salt and pepper
  4. When sweet potato is done remove from oven, mash up and top with cinnamon

Pretty easy, you can’t really mess up this recipe. And your getting all 3 macros, Egg = protein, Sweet Potato = Carb, and Avocado = Fat.

Plus the blood stabilizing abilities of cinnamon to make sure you don’t get a blood sugar spike from that starchy, carby sweet potato.

Low Sugar Cauliflower Surprise Bowl

The reason it’s called a surprise bowl is because its surprisingly DELICIOUS! Or at least I think it is.. You’ll have to let me know your thoughts after your try it! Its sort of a weird texture to get used too. You can really add just about any toppings you’d like!

Ingredients

BASE

1 cup purified waterimg_1828

2 cups cauliflower

3 stalks celery

1 tbsp. cocoa powder

1tbsp green stevia

TOPPINGS!

2 tbsp. pumpkin seeds

handful of blueberries

1 tbsp. finely shred coconut

½ tbsp. cocoa nibs

Ceylon cinnamon to taste

salt to taste

SUPERFOOD ADD INS!

– 1 tsp camu camu: Vitamin C

-2 scoops Vital Proteins Collagen: Protein and digestive health, click on link for more benefits!

-1 tsp dichotomous earth: Silica ( essential mineral)

How to

  1. Prepare your blender… Get that shit out of the cupboard! I’m up at my other house this weekend and here I have a massive ninja.. getting spoiled! But any blender works!
  2. Add about 1 cup of water, your stevia, camu camu, dichotomous earth, cocoa powder
  3. Add in veggies and blend!
  4. After blended a little add it collagen powder, and gently take a spoon and cover it with some of the veggie blend so it doesn’t fly everywhere when you turn the blender on
  5. Once collagen is mixed remove your puree from the blender, I know it looks gross but it really does taste better than it looks
  6. Add your topping however you’d like or add different toppings!

The Real Superbowl

I know we are just getting over all the Superbowl hype, patriots fans still on their high, while the Seahawks fans are drowning their sorrows over, what is hopefully a diary free cheese dip and paired with organic chips. (one can only dream)

To help those of you coping with your lose or a massive hangover, I’ve created a new SuperBowl for all to enjoy! Full of health enhancing superfoods like chlorella and Ashwaganda, just to name a few.

Ingredients

1 avocado

1 cup greens ( spinach ,lettuce) nothing too bitteravocado-bowl

1/2 cup water

1 tbsp Ceylon Cinnamon 

1 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tsp Camu Camu powder

1 tsp Diatomaceous Earth 

squeeze of half a lemon

1 tbsp coconut flour ( or more if too watery)

2 tbsp ground flax seed 

pinch of salt

*  If you can handle sugar go ahead and add some honey or sweetener of choice, I just try to avoid using sweeteners if I can 🙂 I think this tastes great without one!

Directions

  1. place avocado , greens, water, cinnamon, cocoa, camu camu, Dichotomous Earth, and lemon in blender and blend until everything has a smooth consistency, don’t worry if its a little watery
  2. Remove from blender and add coconut flour flax seed and salt! Mix well, it should have a short of paste consistency, then grab a spoon and eat!

Not going only makes the body hold onto toxins longer, not good if you’ve been enjoying a couple drinks each game night.

Diatomaceous Earth: This fine powder is high in silica which is essential for good hair skin and nail health. With today’s soil its hard to get enough from foods, so its good to supplement. Seriously my hair never looks better when I take this stuff!

Ceylon Cinnamon: Another great addition to any healthy dessert, it helps to stabilize blood sugar by lowering insulin, so you don’t get that energy crash afterwards. Thanks Scientists for figuring that one out!

Coconut Flour: Antimicrobial, helps combat the nasties that live in your gut. The nasties or unwanted bacteria feed off sugar and by consuming coconut products you are gently creating a hostile environment for them to live in due to it’s Lauric Acid content

Cocoa Powder: We all like chocolate, lets be honest.. its fuckin’ delicious, but did you know one large componenet of chocolate has some health benefits?! Cocoa powder contains potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron and antioxidants, all things we need to be our healthiest selves. Plus it also has the ability to provide a little extra energy and focus. I feel more energized after having some cocoa powder and brain fog BE GONE!

Spinach smoothie bowl with skin health boosting collagen

Radioactive Smoothie Bowl

Bowl, drink, smoothie, Idk whatever you want to call it… I make it in a blender so part of me wants to call it a drink, but I eat it out of a bowl so the other part of me wants to just call it a bowl.. haha I can’t decide… I think I’ll stick with the term bowl. Alrighty so your probably wondering why this bowl is so vibrantly bright green.. its cuz it has lots of spinach in it! Lets hear if for a nice healthy dose of IRON ( which many women, especially menstruating, are deficient it!). Plus the addition of camu camu powder(vitamin C) makes the iron more likely to be absorbed by the body. Theres your health tid bit for the day haha On to the recipe

Directions

  1. Poor water into blender and add stevia, vanilla extract, a little salt and camu camu
  2. then add celery and spinach
  3. BLEND on high speed till well mashed, add more water if not liquidy
  4. switch blender to  a low speed and slowly poor in gelatin powder 1 tbsp at a time
  5. Once all gelatin has been added set blender to high for about 20 seconds, then transfer liquid to bowl.
  6. place bowl in refrigerator for about an hour or for a quick 10 minutes in freezer if you don’t feel like waiting. Just be sure to check on it!
  7. Remove from fridge or freezer and it should have a sort of jelly like consistency, add your toppings!

Cocoa Pumpkin Bowl

Bout that time of year again where we start eating pumpkin every damn dayy.. until we get sick of it, which usually doesn’t happen till about Christmas when us health nuts switch over to winter squash or my personal favorite, spaghetti squash!

But I think this little recipe is good all your round and good for breakfast or dessert! Plus its SUPER simple if you have no time!

Ingredients

1 cup pumpkin puree

1tbsp cocoa powder

1 tsp green stevia

1 tsp cocoa nibs

1 tbsp raw pumpkin seeds

1tsp ceylon cinnamon or heres a whole lb. of ceylon cinnamon to keep you stocked till Christmas! HINT HINT Buying in bulk really does save in the long run

pinch of Himalayan sea salt

Directions

  1. place pumpkin in bowl and mix in stevia, salt, cocoa powder and cinnamon
  2. mix in salt to taste
  3. sprinkle top with pumpkin seeds and enjoy
